I am pleased to announce some new features since the upgrade to Moodle 3.4 on January 12, 2018:
- Login with Google if you forget your password. On the right-hand side of the login screen, you will now see an option to login with Google. You may login using your Google account in the event that you forget your password, or if your password setting are saved in your browser and they do not appear when you move to another computer.
- Annotate PDF. When you submit an assignment, the instructor can now make annotations and corrections right on the document through moodle. When the paper is returned, students can easily view those annotations. It will look like your teacher wrote on the document like paper. Instructors that have touch screen capability can correct papers with a smart pen. You will no longer need to download attached files from Google drive or Office to view them.
- Antivirus Protection. All uploaded files will automatically be scanned with Moodle's internal virus scanner. You may notice a slight pause while this step is completed, especially the first time your browser loads the antivirus page
- Better integration with Moodle Mobile. The mobile app received some upgrades which should make it load faster and more seamlessly. If you need help installing the Mobile app on your smartphone, see your instructor.
